Betty Armstrong, 71, of Cleveland, Tennessee, died on Wednesday morning, March 29, 2017, with her family by her side.
She was tough and a fighter to the end. Betty gave all she had to provide food and shelter to her children. She was a devout Christian and showed that throughout her everyday life.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lucille Bates; and her father, Delmer Green.
She is survived by her sons, Brent Armstrong (Angela), Brad Armstrong, Darrell Johnson (Becky), and Daniel Johnson (Rita); six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life service is planned for 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 1, at Unity Center, located at 685 Benton Pike NE, with Reverend Randy Martin officiating the service.
