Ludacris and The Flaming Lips, both three-time Grammy award winners, have been announced to play Riverbend for 2017. Rock powerhouse Drivin N Cryin is bringing their brand of hard rock/Southern Rock to the festival, as well.
Ludacris will be the featured act on the Coca-Cola Stage on Saturday, June 10th at 9:30 p.m. He has 20 Grammy nominations and 3 Grammy wins. He also has 13 BET nominations with 9 wins. He has one Screen Actors Guild win.

Chris "Ludacris" Bridges also started the Ludacris Foundation at the beginning of his music career in 2002. The aim of the foundation is to inspire the youth through education, memorable experiences and helping the youth help themselves. The focus is what Ludacris calls the "3Ls": Leadership and Education, Living Healthy Lifestyles, and LudaCares.

He has appeared in 22 movies, several of which he had the starring role. He also has starred on television shows, including Law & Order – Special Victims two times.

Festival favorites The Flaming Lips will be the featured 9:30 p.m. act on Saturday, June 17. Known for the incredibly unique visual displays, this night should be one of the livliest ever at Riverbend, as Here Come The Mummies is the featured act at 7:00 p.m., The Flaming Lips come on at 9:30 p.m., and the huge Riverbend fireworks finale kicks off around 11 p.m.

Members of the Georgia Music Hall of Fame, Drivin N Cryin has been rocking audiences for more than 30 years. Fans will get an up close and personal look at the band when they appear on the Unum Stage at 9:30 p.m. on Friday, June 16.

The Producers, another Atlanta rock band that gained national attention over the years, makes its return to Chattanooga after a Riverfront Nights appearance a few years ago that was one of the largest crowds ever at the summer concert series. Look for The Producers from 8 p.m. – 9:15 p.m. on Saturday, June 17 on the Unum Stage.
