Joyce Littlejohn
Joyce “Mim” Shepard Littlejohn,80, of LaFayette, Georgia, passed away at her residence, surrounded by her family, on Monday, April 24, 2017.
She was born in LaFayette, Georgia to the late Roy Curtis and Dollie Verden Tate Shepard.
She was a member of Catlett Community Church and a former employee of MoHawk Industries.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Wayland Littlejohn.
She is survived by her children: Larry Gilreath, Sandra (Bobby Smith) Carney, LeAnn (Tom) Long, Lori (David) Jackson, all of LaFayette, 10 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, several extended families members, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 26, from 6–9 p.m., and Thursday after 11 a.m. prior to the service. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 27, in the chapel with Pastor Tom Long officiating. Burial will follow in LaFayette Memory Gardens.
