  • Thursday, June 1, 2017

Each May,  local middle school students are selected by students and staff for HCRW's Good Citizenship Award, one of many of this club's community service projects.  The criteria requires students show good character as in "doing the right thing just because it's the right thing to do." They are also perceived as "good citizen" as honest, reliable, and patriotic in their daily interactions and school activities with others.

Good Citizenship Awards were awarded in the following schools and eighth grade students on May 23:

Ooltewah Middle School- Chelsea Hughes by Patsy Henry and Faye T Robinson, HCRW President;

Brown Middle School-Kassidy Wade by Donna Raymer Holcomb; and

Red Bank Middle School- Ja'Miyah Trimble and Mykal Suddeth (not present) by Sharon Rhodes Blankenship.

Awards were presented during assembly programs, with some photos taken during or after the program.
