Volunteers Raise $21,859.04 For Ronald McDonald House Day Of Change

Hundreds of volunteers and local celebrities collected $21,859.04 in spare change at 36 McDonald’s Restaurants for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Chattanooga, a “home away from home” for families of ill or injured children during Day of Change on Friday, June 2.

Day of Change is an annual RMHC event that’s purpose is to show the importance of giving back even in the smallest gesture. 

Business partners who joined in by collecting money at their business ahead of the event and in most cases, also sending employees to volunteer at a location included:  all area branches of Regions Bank, Cigna, the Chapter 13 Trustees Office, Pediatric Dentistry in Cleveland and Hixson, Benchmark Physical Therapy in Dalton and Ft. Oglethorpe, B. W. James Jewelers, Chattanooga Allergy Clinic, WCA-CPAs, and Skin Cancer and Dermatology.   

Chattanooga Times Free Press also donated money from their paper sales.
