Nancy Lee Wamack, 94, of East Ridge, went home to be with the Lord on June 27, 2017.
She was a dedicated wife and mother. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of East Ridge Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil O. Wamack, parents, Jesse and Ova Truex, brother, William L. Truex, and a son-in-law, Chester Shuman.
She is survived by her children, Norman (Mabel) Wamack, Ooltewah, Michael (Joyce) Wamack, Knoxville, and Brenda Shuman, Concord, N.C., five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
A Celebration of Nancy’s Life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday July 3, at 12 p.m. with friends being received one hour prior to service at 11 a.m. She will be laid to rest with her husband in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The family requests no flowers be sent.
