Lee University welcomes George Bostanic as director of Lee’s Office of Residential Life and Housing, a post within the school’s Student Development sector.

“We are pleased to welcome George to this pivotal role,” said Dr. Mike Hayes, vice president for student development at Lee. “He brings relevant leadership experience and ability to this position, exhibiting the kind of student care that is at the heart of Lee University’s culture. I expect our students to connect with him easily and develop personally as a result of their interactions.”

Prior to Lee, Mr. Bostanic worked at Life Pacific College as director of Residence Life for nearly three years. He served as the assistant director of Residence Life at Indiana Wesleyan University for a year and as a residential director there for four years.

Mr. Bostanic worked as a resident assistant for two years during his undergraduate program. Additionally, Mr. Bostanic has served in a number of ministry roles in a local church, at a Christian camp, and at a Christian K-12 school.

Mr. Bostanic earned his Master of Arts in higher education from Geneva College in 2012 and his Bachelor of Arts in Bible and theology at Malone University in 2009.

“I am humbled and honored to serve in my new role,” said Mr. Bostanic. “Residential Life and Housing plays a big part in the pursuit of the holistic development of our students, helping them sharpen their faith, character, and career choices. It will be my goal to make sure we are teaching the students at Lee University to do everything in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
