Jackie Gilbert, 67, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 22, 2017.
He was a resident of Nashville. He was a dedicated member of Faith Is The Victory Church pastored by Charles Cowan in Nashville.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, five brothers and one sister.
He is survived by his wife, Beatrice Gilbert; children, Brice and Tara; stepchildren, Lisa Law, Angela (William) Green and Cecil Woods; granddaughter, Breyasia Josey; brothers, Larry “Bird Dog” and Ann Gilbert, Samuel “Boo” and Glenda Gilbert; sisters, Marcella Allgood, Ann Hood, Joyce Long Sandrea “Moochie” Clay, and Gracie Mae Daniels; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 30, at 2 p.m. at St. Paul AME Church with Pastor Kevin Russell officiating.
