Greggory Vann “Gregg” Owens, born February 22, 1956, passed away on July 27, 2017 at the age of 61. Gregg resided and was raised on Signal Mountain.
Gregg was known for his deep love for his family - especially his children - his keen memory, his sense of humor, his honesty, his love for Vol Football and his ability to stay positive and hopeful in difficult situations.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Janice Owens.
He is survived by his father, Vann Owens (Betty), daughter, Sarah Owens, step-son, Chris Howell, brother, Bruce Owens (Betty), sister, Kathy Shearin Owens (Jerry), sister, Gwen Owens McCary (Steve) and nieces and nephews.
Family and close friends will celebrate his life at a service at Taff Highway Church of Christ, 610 US Highway 127, Signal Mountain, Tn. 37377, on Saturday, July 29, at 5 p.m. with Minister Darrell Wyke officiating. Family will receive friends an hour prior to service.
