  • Monday, July 31, 2017

The Union Gospel Mission, Chattanooga Outreach, Inc., will hold their third annual Labor Day free BBQ Fundraiser on  Sept. 4 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at two locations.  The will be giving away BBQ plates (pulled pork or chicken, slaw, baked beans, desserts, and drinks.) and accepting/encouraging donations.

"Your support will make it possible for us to continue providing help and hope for our Chattanooga neighbors in need," organizers said.

The fundraiser will be held at the following locations:

New Haven Baptist Church, 1058 Graysville Road, at the intersection of East Brainerd Road and Graysville Road in Chattanooga.

Friendship Baptist Church, 1005 Gadd Road, at the intersection of Gadd Road and Highway 153 in Hixson.

"We will be looking for volunteers for the Labor day fundraiser. Contact us if you or your group is interested.  If you have not shared this event with other people you know, please do so.
If you are going to be in the Chattanooga area on Labor Day and you are not going to be on some sort of fast, please come by and enjoy some homemade BBQ."
