Senior forward Will Boyanton and junior midfielder Hayes Wood made the 2017 Coaches' Class A/AA All-State team in Soccer. Senior Cade Evans made the Class A All-State team in Baseball.
“Both teams had great, winning seasons and both clenched their District Championship, respectively”, says Joe Pope, Athletic Director for Boyd Buchanan School.
BBS Soccer finished with a 7-0-1 District record, and BBS Baseball finished the season with a 7-1 District record.
Evans, Boyanton, and Wood were also recently honored at the annual Best of Preps awards banquet among several other BBS athletes and All-Star high school student-athlete peers and their coaches from across the Chattanooga region.
“1:2 students at Boyd Buchanan High School is an athlete,” says Pope. “We encourage all students to join a sport to stay active, be healthy, make friends, and have a well-rounded high school experience,” Pope added.
