William Melvin Johnston, 68, of Ooltewah, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Sunday morning on August 13, 2017 after a long battle of illness.
He is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn Riddle Johnston, daughters, Lisa and Cheryl Johnston, sisters, Joyce Gresham, Imogene Stone, Freida Riddle, grandchildren, Maci and Amber Ellis, Carter Scholtz, and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 16, at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Fletcher Farris officiating. Burial will follow at Plowman Cemetery with Pastor Bob Willerson officiating.
