U.S. Xpress Lays Off 100 Employees

A Chattanooga-based trucking firm laid off 100 employees on Wednesday.

Eric Fuller, CEO of U.S. Xpress, said, "These layoffs were a difficult decision made as part of a shift in company focus.

"We simply needed to make sure our resources and people match our strategic direction."
