More Hamilton County Motorists Selecting ‘In God We Trust’ License Plate

  • Thursday, August 31, 2017

County Clerk Bill Knowles said more motorists are selecting the ‘In God We Trust’ license plate.

The special plate has only been available for two months, and a total of 1,137 local vehicle owners were issued the plate in July and August. The law requires vehicle owners to request the plate.

Mr.

Knowles said, “The state law pertaining to the new plate specifies a one-time extra $2 fee when either renewing a current registration or receiving a new plate at the time of title application. Once the $2 fee is paid the plate is renewed in the office annually at the standard $29 renewal fee.”
