Friends Of The Library Book Sale Is Saturday

  • Wednesday, August 9, 2017

Friends of the Chattanooga Public Library will host its Semi-Annual Book Sale beginning on Saturday and will go through Monday, Aug. 28.

The location for this large sale is Eastgate Town Center, 5600 Brainerd Road. Sale hours are Monday-Saturday from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sundays from noon-6 p.m.

Thousands of books, DVDs, CDs, records, and audio books will be available for $2 and under. There
will also be the “Special Books” priced higher but still a great value. Half-price sale day will be Saturday, Aug. 26, and the traditional Bag Day will be Sunday, Aug. 27.

“Books for educators and charitable organizations are free on Bag Day and free to anyone on Monday, Aug. 28,” said Sharon Brooks, chair of the Friends. "Funds raised from book sales help support library programs for children in the Chattanooga area.”

To volunteer call the Friends at 643-7747 or email folibchatt@gmail.com.
