Baylor Boys, Girls Prevail In First Two-Miler

Baylor hosted its first ever Two-Miler cross country race on Saturday and both teams in red came out with first-place finishes.

Carley Braman and Jane Eiselstein finished first and second for the GPS girls with times of 12:15 and 12:25 respectively, but Baylor's Janie Pippenger and Grace Pippin followed in third and fourth place with times of 12:29 and 12:44 as the Lady Red Raiders prevailed with 28 points.

GPS was second with 37 while Soddy Daisy was third with 62 and Chattanooga Christian fourth with 109.

Red Bank's Cole Bullock was the boys winner with a time of 9:37 while Chattanooga Christian's Edimo Ninteretse was second in 10:31.

Silas Gartman was Baylor's first finisher as he was third in 10:42.  

Baylor was first with 31 points while CCS was second with 43.  Red Bank, Soddy Daisy and Notre Dame followed with 88, 92 and 127 points, respectively.
