Sandra Silvels-Johnson
Sandra Sue Silvels-Johnson, passed away on January 13, 2018, surrounded by her daughter, Chevette Shawtale Jones.
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents; Herbert and Elizabeth Silvels; husband, Reverend Kenneth Johnson; two sisters, Georgia Ann Finch and Shirley Silvels; nephew, Jamie Silvels.
She leaves to cherish her memories her loving daughter, Chevette Shawntale Jones; stepson, Alricko Trimble; grandson, Tracy Bailey, Jr.; brother, Rahmaan Saleem; sisters, Kathy Watson, Carolyn Silvels, Jacqueline (Herschel) Strickland, Evelyn (Jarvis) Porter and Agnes Langston, all natives of Chattanooga; aunt, Ruth Hines of Atlanta; a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Jan. 19, at 1 p.m. at Mt. Cannan Baptist Church. Visitation will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, at the church. Interment will be in Forest Hills Cemetery, John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 423 622-9995.
