Bearden, Ed "Paw"

Ed “Paw” Bearden, 73, of Trenton, died Wednesday morning, January 17, 2018. He, along with his sons, operated Sand Mountain Logging. Mr. Bearden was a veteran of the Vietnam era, and was of the Pentecostal faith. 

He was preceded in death by his wife of over 41 years, Alma Ruth Wooten Bearden. 

Surviving include his daughter, Tonya (Joseph) Riley of Trenton; son Michael (Misty) Bearden of Ider, Al.; brother Wilford (Becky) Bearden of Dalton; brother Harvey (Sherry) Bearden of Dalton; brother Chett (Janette) Bearden of Dalton; brother Lamar (Faye) Bearden of Chatsworth, Ga.; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in the chapel, with Bro. Randy Flood officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. Thursday, 2-8 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at the Ryan Funeral Home in Trenton.
