Buddy Fogo of Fogo Realty passed along some aerial photos of the Lupton City property taken about the time he had the site under option with an out-of-town development firm before the group began developing another piece of property.

The warm season photos show the more than 200 acres of land apparently just before demolition started on the old former Dixie Yarns mill complex about 2013.

A large wooded area can be seen between the Lupton City Golf Course and the Tennessee River.

The property had been purchased by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee in recent years after the insurer initially eyed the land as a company campus.

But the tract was put on the market after the firm built its new headquarters on Cameron Hill in recent years. The land was recently acquired by Riverton LLC, which plans a diverse housing, park space and town center development.
