Minnie Lee Ledford
Minnie Lee Ledford, age 89, of the Mt. Pleasant Community, passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Ledford; parents, Lester and Bonnie Caldwell; and sister, Aera Bryant.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Connie and Chris Cox and Diane and Gary Stanley, all of Dalton; son and daughter-in-law, Darrell and Sheila Ledford of Cohutta; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Peggy Swords and Wanda and Pat Kelly, all of Conyers; brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe and Jean Caldwell of Ellijay, Doyle and Edna Caldwell of Dalton and Ray Caldwell of Titusville, Fl.; six grandchildren, Kelsey and Taylor Stanley, Lindsey Cox, Courtney and Justin Wills, Lyle and Kayla Ledford, Andrew Ledford; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Ledford will be held Friday, Jan. 26, at 3:30 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Dewey Boyd officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Ross Woods.
