CDOT Announces Closures On Williams Street And Sandswitch Road

Tuesday, November 20, 2018

Williams Street will be closed between W. 31st Street and W. 33rd Street from Monday, Nov. 26 until Friday, Dec. 28 for work on the waterlines. Detours will be posted.

Sandswitch Road will be closed to through traffic from Boy Scout Road to Lower Mill Road and will be completely closed between the addresses of 6735 to 6751 Sandswitch Road from 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 26 and Tuesday, Nov. 27 for repair work. Detours will be posted.

The Dallas Bay Volunteer Fire Department saved a million-dollar boat Saturday afternoon. A boat owner called 911 reporting a boat fire located at the Chattanooga Yacht Club at 9400 North Hickory Valley Road.
