Dr. Marva A. Lee will begin pastoral ministry at House of Worship – Chattanooga, at 4628 Oakwood Drive, Chattanooga, Tn. 37416. Her first Sunday will be Feb. 18, at 11:30 a.m.

Dr. Lee was in lay ministry for 18 years, and was subsequently called of God to preach the gospel and has been doing so for the past 16 years. Dr. Lee is the founder and overseer of Marvelous Works Ministries, incorporated in 2002.

As a licensed and ordained minister of the gospel, the ministries’ primary focus is to preach the gospel to the poor, to heal the broken-hearted and to set the captives free. She holds a Doctor of Ministry in Ethnic Studies from Covington Theological Seminary and a Masters in Public Administration from the University of Tennessee.

Although she loves the Bible as a whole, she states that one of her favorite verses in the Bible is "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11
