  • Thursday, February 15, 2018

The Nature of Art: Running the Trails will be held on Saturday from 11:30 a.m.2:30 p.m. at Reflection Riding.

"Let art guide you in a run through the trails of Lookout Mountain. As you warm up your body we’ll warm up your mind with an art connection just before a group run."

On-site registration opens at 11:30 a.m., the art warm up is at 11:45 p.m. and the run at noon.

There will be two trail options: one led by Rock/Creek Trail Races, about a three mile run along the trails of the Reflection Riding property; and one led by Scenic City Trail Runners, about a seven mile run, out and back to Skyuka Springs.

This program is free and aid station food will be provided and donations are accepted. Runners under 18 must have parent or guardian present.

The Nature of Art is a monthly series presented by Reflection Riding Arboretum and Nature Center and the Hunter Museum of American Art.  Each event will involve an active outdoor experience along with a visual art connection.
