Melvin E. Goode, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2018, at his home surrounded by loved ones.
He loved hunting, fishing and playing the guitar. He was a loving husband, father, and friend to all and will be dearly missed by those close to him.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Arthur Goode; brother, Otis Goode.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Goode; sons, Jesse (Jaime) and Sean Goode; mother, Corine (Sherman) Greene; grandchildren, Kendall and Bennett Goode; siblings, Wade Goode, Lonnie (Ella) Goode, Donald Goode, Wilma (Gene) Madewell, Gary (Charlotte) Goode, Patty (Ernest) Benoit, Sheila Goode; brother-in-law, Harold Wilcox; Special friends, Carolyn Howard, Sandy and CB Akins; along with numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
There will be a celebration of life service on Saturday, Feb. 17, at 4 p.m with a viewing prior to the service from 2-4 p.m at Companion Funeral Home in Cleveland. Burial will be at Earls Cemetery following the service. The minister will be Reverend James Staton.
