Robin Varnell Velba, 57, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2017, at the family residence.  

She was of the Baptist faith.  She was totally dedicated to her family and friends and was a woman of great integrity.  She was employed with Duracell with 20 years of service and was also employed with Plantronics for 12 years.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Norma Russell Nobitt and brother, Allen Dale Varnell.

She is survived by her husband, Johnny Velba of Georgetown; father, Thomas Varnell and his wife, Ann Varnell; daughter, Janzen Lark Velba of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; two brothers, Lloyd “Chip” Varnell and Michael Varnell and wife, Sharon, all of Cleveland; sisters-in-law, Tomilee Phillips Varnell, Judy Velba Henry and husband, David, and Carol V. Collins all of Cleveland; several nieces and nephews also survive.  

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 23, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, at the funeral home prior to the service.
