Tennessee Bureau of Investigations director Mark Gwyn announced Thursday he will be retiring from the agency in June.

House Minority Leader Craig Fitzhugh said, “For 14 years, Mark Gwyn has run the TBI and performed at the highest of levels.  His actions have been above reproach and he has served with vision, integrity and compassion.  His leadership will be missed by Tennesseans and I will personally miss his professionalism.  I know that many across the state join me in wishing Mark well.”
