The more President Trump is investigated, the more Democrat corruption is exposed.

Mr. Bogart's letter shows the danger of consuming news "inside the bubble" as they call it. Both sides are guilty of it, it's not really a left or right exclusive phenomenon. When you're never exposed to "bad news" on our President then certainly you'll believe he isn't corrupt to the core.
Claiming that President Trump is not corrupt is one of the most preposterous statements I've ever seen on this site. There are a multitude of examples of this administration's corruptness from Ben Carson's $165,000 expenditure on redecorating his office to the paying off of hush money to porn stars and playboy playmates.
I'm not saying that some Democrat politicians aren't corrupt. Washington has that influence on people, and I know that a reply to this email will use whataboutism to deflect from the subject of our President's corruption. I don't need a several paragraph reply of, "well what about this, and what about that?" That's what usually happens when I write in.
It's truly a shame if someone believes that Democrats are more corrupt than our President. Sadly that's the state of our nation when our news sources only report things that fit a narrow, predefined narrative.

I really had to laugh at Mr. Mitchell's response for two reasons. Number one, Mr. Bogart never made the claim that Mr. Trump was not corrupt and yet Mr. Mitchell claimed that it was the most preposterous statement he had ever seen on this site. Given that Mr. Bogart's post consisted of one sentence, even a third grader could understand that a statement regarding Mr. Trump not being corrupt was never said. Number two, Mr. Mitchell seemed certain that any reply to his post would result in something he called "whataboutism" and yet his post was, in fact, a clear example of whataboutism in relation to Mr. Bogart's post.
Additionally, for Mr. Mitchell's edification, those scandals regarding the porn star affair occurred long before Mr. Trump became President. I don't wish to condone what Mr. Trump did as a private citizen, but to infer it happened during his term of office is fake news. Using Ben Carson's office redecorating as another example of corruption is, to put it bluntly, rather lame.
And for the record, as someone who is somewhat of a political junkie and pays close attention to the political class, I do believe that Democrats are far more corrupt than Republicans. Of course, neither side is free of corruption, but the Democrats have always led the political league in nefarious activities, at least in my lifetime.
In the real world, Mr. Trump is a non-politician operating in a political environment. His pragmatic approach to being President is actually getting things done which is rather refreshing and the results speak for themselves. I can overlook his bombastic personality if he leaves office with America in better shape than he found it. So far, so good.
