Bonita Lavá Cothron
Bonita Lavá Cothron, 62, of Chattanooga, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at her residence. She was a 1973 graduate of Howard High School.
Bonita was preceded in death by her parents, YV and Naomi Cothron; sisters, Margaret Smith and Ruby Mitchell.
Survivors include her daughter, Kenisha (John, Jr.) Billups of Chattanooga; sons, Juwan (Shari) Robinson of Birmingham, AL, Branden Robinson, and Quinton Robinson, both of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Katlyn, Jaylon, Jamari Billups, all of Chattanooga, Devan Robinson of Nashville, and Charlee of Robinson of Birmingham; sisters, Linda Harrington, Wanda (Mickey) Bennette, both of Chattanooga, and Angela (Julian) Body of Houston, TX; special friend, Labron Robinson; a host of other relatives and friends.
A Time of Remembrance with the family will be Tuesday, March 27, 2018 from 12-2 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.
