Sharon Brock Anderson of East Ridge, formerly of Hixson, born June 9, 1945, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2018, at Hospice of Chattanooga.
She graduated from Erlanger School of Nursing as a registered nurse, and worked for Moccasin Bend for 40 plus years.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Luther and Lena Brock, Sr. and Lewis and Sadie Holloway, her parents, Perry and Patricia Brock, Jr., brother David Gary Brock, Sr.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Darla Brock, nephew, David Gary (Erin) Brock, Jr., niece, Jennifer Brock Judkins, great-nephews, Dylan and Declan Brock, great-nieces Ashlee, Judkins (Josh) Maum, Merisa (Cordell Frizzell) Judkins, and Jessica (Justin Viola) Judkins, great-great-nephews, Lincoln Maum and Vayden Viola, longtime friend, Nancy Crisler, and her beloved cats.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 10, at Jones Memorial United Methodist Church at 3 p.m. Family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. at the church.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Jones Memorial United Methodist Church, Relevant Hope or the East Ridge Food Pantry. The family would like to thank the staff at Memorial Hospital, Hospice of Chattanooga and her Jones Memorial UMC family for their loving care.
