Marc Gravitt Is The Best Choice For Register

Wednesday, April 11, 2018

I have had the privilege to know Marc Gravitt for almost 30 years, and his family even longer.  I've had dealings with Marc in business and he was always honest and a man of his word.

Like myself, Marc is a veteran who served in uniform to defend our great country.  Marc has also served as my East Ridge city councilman, vice mayor, and as state representative.

During Marc's time as state representative, I've had to ask his assistance twice in dealing with the State of Tennessee.  After trying to resolve issues with the State of Tennessee and getting no results.  I called Marc for help as a last resort.  Every time I called, Marc answered the phone, listened to my issue, and within 48 hours my issues were resolved with the State of Tennessee.  That is truly what public serve is all about.

Marc has served the citizens of Hamilton County and the State of Tennessee with honor, truthfulness and dedication to duty.  Marc will make and excellent Hamilton County Register of Deeds.

What Happened To Recycle Pickup On Robinson Drive?

The city did not pick up the recyclables on Friday the 7th on our street (Robinson Drive). They have missed the whole street four of the past five scheduled pick up days. We then have to call 311 or the mayors office and they pick it up in two or three days. The mayor needs to find out why this continues to happen and make any necessary changes to insure that the problem ... (click for more)

Wanting A Publix That Better Suits The Location And Community

In his opinion piece, “Quit Embarrassing Us,” Rox Exum misses the point. He writes, “I cannot speak for those who oppose the renewal of South Broad Street but…what is puzzling to me is…why more don’t embrace it and join in what our overall community needs the most: our encouragement.” No one who opposes the Publix development in its proposed form opposes the renewal of South ...
