Hunt For The Deadly Dogmen TV Series Has Chattanooga Origins

  • Saturday, April 14, 2018

Timestream Pictures announced Friday that it will soon begin filming a new unscripted, crypto-horror, episodic TV reality series entitled “Hunt for the Deadly Dogmen”.

Deadly Dogmen, currently in pre-production, is a reality series about a real and deadly cryptid creature, also referred to as Human Werewolves, Wolfmen, or Lycandroids.

The Deadly Dogmen series is based upon Leslie S. Mitts and Robert D. Miles’ best selling book, Lycandroids, Super Soldiers, and the Freedom War. Its first week on Amazon, it was ranked #8 in horror and #12 in sci-fi, although it is based upon a real creature with astounding capabilities. Much of the action in the book is set in the greater Chattanooga and north Georgia area. The criteria for this hunting expedition is laid out in the back of the book which was written for the sole purpose of educating the public about a largely unknown danger when hiking, camping, fishing, and hunting. Sightings have even occurred in the Chattanooga area.

Concept Creator, Executive Producer, and Showrunner Leslie S. Mitts is a lifelong resident of the greater Chattanooga area. She is best known for her work as a content creator and producer for Timestream Pictures' documentary series “The UFO Chronicles” available on Amazon Prime, Vimeo, Timestream Pictures, and similar video platforms worldwide.

Robert D. Miles, president of Timestream Pictures, will co-executive produce and share the responsibility as co-showrunner. Mr. Miles is a film writer, director, and producer with 17 films in worldwide distribution.

Deadly Dogmen Episode One will feature one of the world’s top paranormal research teams, Paranormal Analytical, based in San Antonio, Texas. The members of the team have the right stuff to handle such a dangerous hunt with their professional experience in law enforcement, the military, emergency medicine, advanced equipment development, and years of working closely together. “UFO Cop” and paranormal research team leader, Eddie Hill, who hosts two paranormal talk shows, will head up his team's search for this deadly creature to gain evidence of its existence.

A special Deadly Dogmen event will be held on Monday at the Chattanooga Film Commission’s “Backlot” gathering at the Heritage House on Jenkins Road, beginning at 6 p.m. Admission is free and the general public is invited, along with local and regional filmmakers. Potluck refreshments will be served. Mr. Miles' award-winning film “Fastwalkers” will also be presented.
