Nona “Grandmama” Bethel Pendergrass, 84, of LaFayette, passed away on Monday, April 16, 2018, surrounded by her loving family.
She attended Harbor Lights Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wyndell Pendergrass; parents, Delmer Derrick and Pearl Sutton Derrick; sisters, Olene Derrick and Louise Jackson; and brother, Newman Derrick.
She is survived by her daughters, Mary (Ralph) Henton and Linda Collins of LaFayette; sons, Jimmy (Elizabeth) Pendergrass and Johnny (Amelia) Pendergrass of LaFayette; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. on Thursday, April 19, in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jim Powell officiating. Interment will follow in LaFayette Memory Gardens. Pallbearers are grandsons.
Visitation will be held from 5-9 p.m. on Wednesday, at the funeral home.
