Brenda Jane Williams, 71, of Ooltewah, passed away on Monday, April 23, 2018, at her home.  

She was a member of New Liberty Baptist Church and the Adult Sunday School Class. Brenda had worked at Erlanger Hospital as a registered nurse and at TVA as an accountant.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George R. and Nancy Jane Stewart Busby; a brother, Bobby Busby; a great-grandson, Kingston Flavin.

Survivors include her loving husband of 51 years, Sidney Williams; son, Michael (Cynthia) Williams; three grandchildren, Courtney (Michael) Flavin, Joshua Williams and Matthew Rivera; two great-grandchildren, Bentley and Breckin; sister, Connie Stockinger and brother, Curtis Busby; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. on Thursday, April 26, at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road with the Reverend James Hutchinson and the Reverend Doyle Williams officiating.  

Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.  

The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Wednesday and from 10 a.m.–12 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
