Cleveland Boys Second In Large Division Track

Benjedi Casseur, Keegan Jones Lead Blue Raiders With Individual Wins

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. -- Keegan Jones won the 200 dash and teammate Benjedi Casseus won the 110 high hurdles to help the Cleveland boys finish second in the Division I-Large class division of the state track meet at MTSU Thursday night.

Brentwood was first with 62 points while the Blue Raiders were a close runner-up with 58.

Jones won the 200 with a time of 21.10 seconds after finishing third in both the long jump and 100 dash while Casseus had a winning time of 13.99 seconds before taking second in the 300 intermediates with a time of 38.77 seconds.

Cleveland's Tiyanna Johnson was second in the girls 100 dash with a time of 11.95 seconds before taking fifth in the 200.

Red Bank's Cole Bullock was fourth in the boys 1600 with a time of 4:23.25 before finishing a disappointing 11th in the 3200.

Friday's track action will feature all the Division II schools.
