University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Athletics Assistant Director of Communications and Media Relations Anne Wehunt was honored by the Tennessee Sports Writers Association this week.  Wehunt took second place in the state-wide 'Event Writers' contest.

All member colleges and universities in the state of Tennessee are eligible for the award.  Each of the first, second and third-place winners will be recognized during the TSWA Hall of Fame dinner and banquet on Thursday, July 12, in Baird Chapel at Cumberland University.

This is the first honor from the TSWA earned by a member of UTC's communications staff in recent memory.  Wehunt is entering her 18th year with the Mocs, serving as the primary contact for UTC's women's basketball, track & field, cross country and soccer programs.
