  • Saturday, June 16, 2018

Anna Davina Doepp, 87, passed away on June 13, 2018.

Her faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was unshaken; she is now home in glory.

Davina was born in 1931 in Lymm, Cheshire, England. Her parents were missionaries to the Amazon region of Brazil where she grew up. She was educated in the U.S. where she met George who became her husband of nearly 64 years. They returned to Brazil in 1955. There for 25 years they ministered to impoverished children through Christian organizations. Davina was a strong support for her husband’s work providing hospitality and maintaining the family. Brazil was always home to her, but they also continued their ministry in Guatemala and California, before retiring to Lookout Mountain, Georgia in 1992.

Davina is survived by her husband George, her children Elizabeth Langendoen (Ernest), Lydia Taylor (David), and James Doepp (Eva), her 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at Lookout Mountain Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, June 19, at 11 a.m., preceded by visitation at 10 a.m. in the fellowship hall.

Arrangements are under the care of Chattanooga Funeral Home Crematory and Florist East Chapel, 404 South Moore Road, East Ridge, Tn. 37412.
