Toby King
Leonard “Toby” Lamar King, age 58, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Saturday afternoon, June 23, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born Nov. 2, 1959, a son of the late Joseph Floyd and Ora Mae Wilson King.
He is survived by his companion, Charlaine Long of the residence; sons, David Williams of Chatsworth, Ga., Joseph Ridings of Cohutta, Ga.; daughter, Christina Ridings of Dalton; special nephew, Justin Edwards of Dalton; brother, Joseph Floyd King of Dalton; sisters and brother-in-law, Debbie Edwards of Varnell, Ga., Anita and Mike Cummings of Dalton; eleven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A service to celebrate the life of Leonard “Toby” Lamar King will be held Wednesday, June 27, at 11 a.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9-11 a.m. on Wednesday.
