Elleman, Walter (Dalton)

Mr. Walter Elleman, 70, of Dalton, departed this life Tuesday evening July 10, 2018 at a local healthcare facility. He was born July 28, 1947 in South Pittsburg, a son of the late Rudolph Cyrus and Virginia Evers Elleman.

He is survived by his wife, Elsie Elleman, of the residence; daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa and Billy Taylor, of Chatsworth, Amanda and Dean Stokes, of Ranger, Ga. and Jada Elleman, of Chatsworth; son, Chris Edgar, of Scottsboro, Al.; sister, Sarah Paschal, of Bridgeport, Al.; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Walter Elleman will be held Friday July 13 at 2 p.m. in the Ponders Melrose Chapel, with Reverend Wayne Cofield officiating. Interment will follow in the Ponders Murray Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Friday.
