James Wade, 37, Shot Friday Morning; Alvin Brown, 50, Is Arrested

Chattanooga Police responded on Friday at approximately 10:47 a.m. to a person shot in the area of 3000 McGill Cemetery Road.
 
Upon arrival, police located Hames Wade, 37, who was suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital via HCEMS.
 
Witnesses told police that Wade and Alvin Brown, 50, had argued prior to the shooting. Brown was arrested on the scene, and charged with aggravated assault.
 
Members of the Violent Crimes Bureau are actively investigating this incident.
