Harrison Ruritan Club To Host County-Wide Candidates Rally And Fish Fry On Saturday

Tthe Harrison Ruritan Club will host a County-Wide Candidates Rally/Fish Fry on Saturday.  

Fish and BBQ Dinners ($8) will be served from 3-8 p.m. Beginning at 3:30 p.m. unopposed candidates will be allowed to speak for two minutes and candidates with opposition will have three minutes to speak.

Candidates who have confirmed their attendance are:  Bill Knowles, County Clerk; Chester Bankston, County Commission D. 9; Jim Coppinger, Mayor; Jim Hammond Sheriff; Ann Pierre, School Board D6; Steve Highlander, School Board D9; Bobby Wood, St. Exec. Committee D11; Lemon Williams, Jr. TN House D28; Bo Watson, TN Senate, D11.  Other candidates are trying to fit it into their schedules. 

The event will be held at the Ruritan Club Building, 5709 Tyner Lane, off Highway 58 next to Harrison Elementary School.
