Willie Nelson Mitchell Sr., 92, passed away on July 23, 2018.
He was a member of Alleyne Memorial AME Zion Church and worked at Ross Meehan for over 40 years.
He is survived by his daughters, Thesseleaner (Maxwell) Roberts, Edna Mitchell, and Julia Taylor; grandchildren, Renatta Fleming, Valecia (Alvin) Murphy, Bryant (Velma) Taylor, Jameel (Christy) Abdullah, and Kayla Mitchell; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Odell Green; daughter-in-law, Sherri Mitchell, Lawrenceville, Ga.; nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 30, at 10:30 a.m. at National Cemetery. The body will lie in state after noon on Sunday, July 29.
