Chip Baker Has Leadership Experience

  • Wednesday, August 1, 2018

If you haven’t already voted, I respectfully ask that people in District 2 vote for Chip Baker as our next county commissioner.

The skills and relationships Chip has honed while working as a leader in business and community groups will greatly benefit us on the County Commission. He loves talking with people, hearing their concerns, and helping them resolve issues.

I’ve enjoyed reading the many testimonies from those who’ve known and worked with Chip for nearly 30 years…either while he served as a former leader of Children’s Hospital, chairman of the Hamilton County School Board (on which he served 12 years), director of the popular and successful Riverbend Festival, and various community groups. So many have mentioned Chip’s relationship skills that are beneficial in negotiations.

I know Chip and wife, Karlette, to be hard workers willing to roll up their sleeves and do whatever is needed to get a job done for our kids and schools. He would bring that same passion and dedication to the County Commission.

We need his leadership experience, his contacts, and his skill sets working for us.

Please join me in voting for Chip Baker as our next District 2 county commissioner.
