HCSO Director Of Administration Don Gorman Retires

Sheriff Jim Hammond, members of the Command Staff, and numerous other personnel Thursday hosted a retirement party for Director of Administration, Don Gorman, who is retiring from 12 years of dedicated service to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office and the citizens of Hamilton County. 

As director of Administration, Mr. Gorman was responsible for overseeing the supervision of the Divisions’ of Finance, Human Resources, Records, and Information Technology. 

Director Gorman is an U.S. Army veteran of 27 years and retired at the rank of master sergeant. He enlisted during the Vietnam War where he served stateside. During his notable career with the U.S. Army he was also deployed and served during Operation Desert Storm where he received the prestigious Bronze Star. 

Director Gorman is a graduate of Covenant College where he received a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Management in 2001. 

He has four children and has been married to his wife, Carrie, for two years.
