Robert Stanley Long of Chattanooga passed away on Monday, August 6, 2018 at his home.
He was the son of the late Robert and Irene Johnston Long. Robert was a graduate of Kirkman Technical High School and served with the Army National Guard. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Robert is survived by his wife Mary Long, children, Robert DeWayne (Teresa) Long of Chattanooga, Lisa Karen Plott of Winchester, Tn., Mark Anthony Long of Athens, Tn., Robert Frederick Long of Nashville, and Marla (Stephen) Birkelbach of Jacksonville, Fl., grandchildren, Joshua and Morgan Long, Paige, Justin, Brandon and Shelby Plott, Rheagan, Reese, and Ryan Birkelbach, one great-grandchild, and three sisters.
Robert will be laid to rest at a later date.
Arrangements are under the care of Chattanooga Funeral Home Crematory and Florist East Chapel, 404 South Moore Road, East Ridge, Tn 37412.
