Ronald McDonald House Of Chattanooga Charity Golf Tournament Hosted By Old Chicago Set for Aug. 27

  • Monday, August 13, 2018

Old Chicago will host its first annual charity golf tournament to benefit Ronald McDonald House of Chattanooga and the Craftworks Foundation on Monday, Aug. 27 with a 1 p.m. shotgun start at Bear Trace at Harrison Bay Golf Course.

"Old Chicago loves giving back to the community and is excited to host the first charity golf tournament to benefit RMH of Chattanooga. Starting with a late afternoon shotgun, Old Chicago will provide lunch before teeing off, as well as dinner following the rounds. As Old Chicago is known to be the 'Craft Beer Authority,' beverage service will be available as well," officials said.

Individuals can register at Old Chicago at Northgate Mall or online through eventbrite.com.   Entry fee is $125 for individuals and $500 for foursomes.

"As this is the first annual, there has been much support from the community to provide prizes and giveaways. Sponsored by Cherokee Distribution and Budweiser of Chattanooga, the swag just keeps pouring in. Even if you are not a great golfer, there are plenty of opportunities to walk away a winner. In addition to a putting competition, longest drive/closest to the pin and hole-in-one contest, there are also mulligan packets, raffle prizes and drawings," officials said.

To participate through sponsorship, a hole can be sponsored for $122, which covers the cost of a family to stay for two nights at the Ronald McDonald House.  For information on donating prizes or sponsoring a hole, contact Old Chicago GM Chirs Wooton through email at Cwootton@cwrestaurants.com, or stop by the Northgate Old Chicago.
