George Emmett Ingle, 79, of Ringgold, passed away on Friday, August 10, 2018. He was born to the late Raymond George and Dorothy Cassidy Ingle in Alice, Tx, resided in Langdon, ND for 30 years, before moving to Ringgold in 2002 and was a member of St. Gerard Catholic Church. He retired from the U.S. Army in 1977 after more than 20 years and retired from Concrete Ready Mix after more than 5 years. George was also a member of Knights of Columbus and the VFW post # 203. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, who will be greatly missed.
He was also preceded in death by his sister, Mary Louise McBride.
George is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Jeannette Michaud Ingle; sons, Dale (Scherry) Ingle, of Fayetteville, NC and T.J. (Karen) Ingle, of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Samantha (Trevvor) Toczek, Tiffany Ingle, Patrick Ingle and Kathryn Ingle; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 14 in the funeral home chapel.
