Eleanor Joyce Hardin McDougald, 93, died on January 18, 2019.
She attended George Peabody College and worked at Southern Bell Telephone Company a short time until her marriage.
She had been active in Women on Mission, Cross Team, Church Care, and the Ruth Sunday School class of Brainerd Hills Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Maude Hardin, her sister and brother-in-law, Frances and Paul Rutledge, husband, Mac, close friend for over 60 years, Juanita Ledford, and also her little dog Peppy, faithful companion for 14 years and the the love of her life.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 23, at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
