Carl Carter
Carl M. Carter, Jr., 79, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Dublin, Georgia, passed away on May 14, 2019, with family at his side.
Carl was preceded in death by his son, Gary Morgan Carter, and his wife, Glynda Hersey Carter.
He was born and raised in Dublin, Ga. He earned a B.S. in electrical engineering from Georgia Tech, then had a long and prosperous career with DuPont. He lived a life of devotion to his family, and will be remembered for the strength of character he held in shepherding his family through many difficult years.
He is survived by his daughter, April (Adam) Royer and granddaughter, Morgan (Ryan) Young.
The family will celebrate his life and lay him to rest through a graveside service on Tuesday, May 21, at Northview Cemetery in Dublin, Ga.
