Richard Eugene Swafford, 69, of Rossville, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2019, at his residence following an extended illness.
He was born in Benton, Tennessee, and was a lifelong resident of Rossville. Richard enjoyed fishing, working in the garden and he loved classic cars.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harley and Edith Swafford; and brothers, Harold, Randy, and Ronnie Swafford.
Survivors include his daughter, Pam Smith (Kevin Boatwright); three sisters, Bickie McLacklan, Barbara Key, and Wanda Milling; two grandsons, Gregory and Cody Smith; and several nieces and nephews.
No services are scheduled at this time, but a memorial service will be planned for a later date.
