Nelda Poole
Nelda F. Poole, 79, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2020.
She was the daughter of the late Lacey and Beulah Poole and was preceded in death by six sisters, Clara Laddy, Mildred Bennett, Annie Beaird, Bertie Frasier, Beulah Williams, Gloria Mitchell, and two brothers, William “Bill” Poole and Charles Poole.
Nelda retired from DuPont and had later worked for Country Place Restaurant and Choo Choo Barbeque.
She was of the Church of God faith and had attended Redemption Point in Ooltewah.
Survivors include her brother, Paul Poole, of Rainsville, AL, sister, Wilma Trussell, of Chattanooga, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 21, in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Reverends Charles Pittman and Terry Trussell officiating. Burial will follow in Chattanooga Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 19, at the funeral home.
